I have a smile on my face thinking of my brother's (northern Vermont) devastated chicken coop and the hobby horse I found in a Vermont snowbank. A short distance from the Civil War activity, though I seem to recall the Rebel robbery of a bank in St. Albans.
steve, this image keeps pulling me back in. and for sure i didn't see the horse until you typed aboutit. but it's that way with most of your work - i think to myself 'wow, what the hell is that???' i even squint. nicely done!
haha! well, good Billie, it's working. I'm definitely trying to capture the intricacy of tapestry with my material, which gives the viewer something new on each look.
Nice. Particularly with the black and white and hazy effect, it made me think of the devastation of the Civil War.
